chiropractic careThis is a simple way to provide existing and new patients with valuable information not only about you but also about what chiropractic is and what it can do for them.

If you don’t have, what I call, PASSIVE PATIENT ACQUISITION TECHNIQUES – promotional techniques that will automatically drive new patients to your clinic without needing to actively get them (which is the main topic of my next blog! Here is a major technique… ALL chiros need powerful chiropractic websites.

There are points that you can do each day time of your life to help prevent your back from having to cope with undue stress. First of all, examine your posture in your full length mirror each morning. If it’s much less than ideal then perform on it. Continuously remind yourself to not hunch more than or slouch! Bear in thoughts that proper posture is all about maintaining a neutral spine, which would be to say the natural curve that your spine follows.

The medical term for the most common and widespread cause of mechanical lower back pain is subluxation. I spoke with an Owings Mills Culver City Massage Therapy (www.Facebook.com) who defined subluxation as “a condition where adjacent spinal bones are out of alignment with each other.” Nerve fibers run between each of the vertebrae. A subluxation can cause a pinched nerve producing pain and reduced function of our bodies.

The solution lies in your basic mindset. What is your underlying reason to be involved in a business in the first place? Is your goal to take all you can take? Or is your goal to somehow offer something of value to your consumers? If your answer is the latter, you are well on your way to having a successful business. Your desire to help others will reflect in every part of what is presented through your business.

This will make it easier for you to resume your normal activities as soon as the therapy is over. When you first meet the doctor you should feel comfortable and confident that he or she will be able to help you. Look for an experienced one.

Dr. Michael L. Hall, D.C. practices at Triangle Disc Care in Raleigh, North Carolina specializing in spinal decompression for the treatment of acute and chronic neck pain and back pain due to herniated, degenerated discs. This is a conservative procedure for patients suffering with bulging or herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, posterior facet syndrome, sciatica, failed back surgery syndrome, and non-specified mechanical low back or neck pain.

Many times, pain in the back and neck is aggravated because of swelling. Swelling is your body’s natural response to injury. However, it can exacerbate the discomfort. Veins and vessels restrict when exposed to ice, so this can be a perfect way to bring down swelling and give yourself some relief. A bag of frozen peas, a frozen gel pack, or an old-fashioned ice bag can do the trick. Apply it to the area for a half hour or so. Not only will it bring down some of the swelling, just making the area numb to sensation will help temporarily.
